I am looking for a Chicago Bears fan that might be willing to wager a few Thunderstick Juniors on this Sunday's game. How much confidence to you folks have?

I don't think someone really would admit to being a bears fan, then again Mike you admitted to being a packers fan so I guess one never knows, oh well, GO VIKES, we still have a 1% chance of making the playoffs!!!

There was a time when a Bears victory was rarer than the Thunderstick Jrs. Now it's the other way around.

Face it folks, the central division is getting a much needed change. The Bears vs. Packers game has some true meaning like it did in the 60's and the Vikings still can't win the big one. Tampa is who we really need to worry about. Go Bears!!! And I'll take that bet unless your balls are made of cheeze :)

Hey Wetwilly - I sure hope you enjoyed that 15-1 season where the queens lost the NFC Championship at home. Cause it will be a long time before that happens again. It's not your fault Moss and Culpepper are just gangsta punks.

You know who else is looking for a bears fan? The team... :-)

Fuzzywuzzy, I was trying to think of a good comeback but it's hard to argue with that, but we may be back sooner than you think if we can loss the rest of our games, get rid of Denny Green, and trade Moss for someone who gives a s**t, in the mean time I'll keep throwing splitshots at the tv on sundays.

That's why the season ticket wait-list is over 10,000 people long right? :)

Go Bears!

OK - Here is the bet. If Bears win - I'll send you 2 Deep Thunderstick JR's from my current supply. If the Pack wins - you send me 2. Are you in? Do you have a good supply of DJ's. Let's talk colors.

Hey there "DA BEARS" please let me know when you will be sending me my Thundersticks. I prefer rainbow color.

Whew, glad I didn't take you up on that bet. Anyone know of a good offensive coordinator looking for a job????

Mike

Isn't it interesting that "DA BEARS" seems to have disapeared once his team lost. I guess he is the one with balls of cheese. Is this typical from a Bears fan??

I'm still here. To bad no one wanted to take me up on my wager. Wonder if the offensive coordinator's job will be opening up soon?

Mike

I would have taken the bet, but I don't know what those things are. Must be something to fish with in beautiful Illinois river.

Maybe we will get another chance to wager in the playoffs, if the Bears get through the wild card game.

OkDokes are similar to Lazy Ikes or Flatfish and were THE bait to use on Bago 20 yrs ago. They are no longer in production.
Heddon River Runts are no longer in production and can be VERY expensive on e-Bay. I still use them for shallow structure eyes and will outfish any Rapala guy 4 to 1.
L&S Mirrolures (search for mirrolure on the net) are also great baits. I use the jointed crankbaits for longlining on Bago etc.
Mike where are you from. I grew up in Menasha (started fishing Bago with Dad and Grampa when I was 3yrs old).

Minnesota Viking football practice was delayed for two hours today. One of the players, while on his way to the locker room, happened to look down and notice a suspicious-looking, unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.
Head Coach Dennis Green immediately suspended practice while the FBI was called in to investigate.
After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.
Practice was resumed when FBI Special Agents decided that the team would not be likely to encounter the substance again.

Sorry, I'm normally a Vikings fan. This year stinks, as does Moss' attitude.

I consider myself a loyal Vikes fan. But, since Sept. 11th, I haven't been able to get into football. That day reminded me that football is just a game of overpaid men. There is much more important things in life such as family and of coarse walleye fishing. Bless ya all.

I think you will be waiting a long time.
The only thing you could trust within the Bears realm of players or fans was
Jim McMann He was an SOB but at least he did what he said he was going to.
Beware of the power of CHEESE.

I live in Neenah now after a 17 year tearm in Menasha.

After watching the Bears show us that they probably have one of the worst offenses in the NFL, I don't believe they are going to do much for the rest of the season. I would even be willing to go double or nothing for the two Thundersticks that DA BEARS owes me that Chicago will get beat by the Lions in Detroit.

Thought the guy would be shamed into paying up especially considering that earlier this season the Pack whooped em right in the bears own house.

You moved from Menasha to Neenah? You should be ashamed! ;)

Neenah with pride. Menasha with humility.

I actually live west of Neenah in the town of Clayton, but I have 54956 for a Zip.

Gee Mike, I watched the Bears Sunday and thought it was the Pachers and later watched the Packers and thought it was the Bears.

WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!

Mike
12-17-2001, 03:41 PM
The only thing wrong with the Packers on Sunday was that the offense was bad and the defense was bad. Aside from that the special teams were OK. Watching that game was like going to the dentist. I just wish the Packers could play the Bears every week.

Wait til the Vikes go whoop them at Lambeau! And no, no bets here. My Vikes can't beat the lowly Lions or Panthers but they so far are 1-0 against the Pack this Year! Must be the fact that they can't beat a feline! The Packers have to good of a record to get beat by them!
