if i want to pull worm harnesses in 20 foot of water, i put on a jet diver 20, and let out 100 feet of line. i can use this jet diver without a planer board can't i?
-i'm dumber than a bag of hammers, forgive me..lol

My experience with Jet Divers is minimal, but I would think you could use it without a board.
I have always used Snap-Weights to get spinner rigs to those depths. The Snap-Weights work very well for that.

I run harnesses behind jet diver a lot on Erie for walleye. They work fine off the back of the boat without a board. Per the new precision trolling, big water edition 100 foot back with a jet 20 will put you down ~ 18 feet. 20 feet deep would be 115 feet of line out (30# braided)
