This year I had one of the Enginesteer steering systems installed on my Alumacraft Tournament Pro 175/Honda 90 rig. Running long distances can get tiring with the larger outboards, but with the Enginesteer it is effortless. There is no torque on the tiller, minimal pressure is all that is required to turn. The development of this steering system could be incentive for more anglers to get back into tiller boats with larger horsepower outboards.
My dad, who has a shoulder problem and couldn't run the tiller last year, can now do so easily and comfortably. I have been running this system all year, no problems, just much easier steering. So far, Enginesteer is a winner.
