Going fishin there june 18 -24 anybody been there recently?
Hows the fishin ?
Any tips?


We go fishin (my dad ,uncle , cousin,) we meet up once a year for a week of Walleye fishin , beer drinkin, and tellin lies.
We went to Mille Lacs ( aka the dead sea ) last year the fishin was LOUSY , so any tips on Devils would be most appreciated.

Was on Devils Lake Sunday June 12. Fishing around Doc Hagen's island - 5 to 13 feet of water. Two of us caught a limit of nice eaters but nothing big. Slip bobbers with leeches seemed to work the best. Watched an anchored boat absolutely nail the 'eyes for two solid hours on slip bobbers and jigs tipped with leeches - it was unbelievable. Talked to them and they said they were anchored over a hump - would have loved to have been on that hump.
