Buddy of mine has been trying to get ahold of Zercom for some questions on his flasher. No response since first trying in June. Anybody have any ideas or help to contact them? Thanks.

I sent one in last December - you have to call them first (I'll try and find the number) - and then it takes about a week and $99.00 to get it checked out.
Personally, if I had it to do over again I'd buy a new one!

The problem with Zercom is that Hummingbird bought them a couple years ago.
That is another company down the toilet....

I sure hope they don't drop the Zercom flasher. Simple, accurate, fast, does not eat batteries on fly In trips. This type of equipment is what makes fishing simple, basic and enjoyable without making you feel guilty about spending big bucks. Seems as though everyone wants all of the "bells and whistles" and because of the newer chips you can put many features in a small unit for only a few bucks more. I have met so many folks that are proud to have the greatest new electronics but don't know how to use them. Kind of like my VCR clock that is correct twice a day. Sorry for the rambling. Just trying to keep life simple and affordable.

I hope Motorguide doesn't poison Pinpoint....could be the same deal.
I have talked to Techsonic many times in the last few weeks and have had a great response from their support staff. They even sent out a questionaire to see if I was satsfied and if not, someone would call me. Not many companies doing that these days.
These are the best units i have used and I think they are trying to get past some of their historical problems.
