BIG SPIRIT LAKE continues to have a good bite day & night. Most fish are in the 14 to 16-inch range, with a big one now & then. Try a Roach Rig with a Shiner Minnow. Depth will vary on wind, clouds, Etc., but my best depth is 12-foot during the daytime & 6' at night. Cast Power Grubs or Crankbaits at night, or use a slip bobber & leech. Smallie action on the rocks has been excellent. Cast a Caps Rock a roo hair jig tipped with a shiner during the day. No live bait is needed on the jig after dark. There is some crappie action in Anglers Bay.
EAST OKOBOJI has a simular walleye bite going but more sub legal fish will be caught.
WEST OKOBOJI is best at night for walleyes trolling Crankbaits. CENTER LAKE is also producing a few walleyes. SILVER LAKE at Ayrshire has an excellent crappie bite going. Size range from 7 to 14-inches. SILVER LAKE at Lake Park is fair on walleyes during the daytime but is better at night. THE LITTLE SIOUX RIVER continues to produce walleyes at the Linn Grove Dam. Cast a jig with a 2 or 3-inch Power Grub.
