Just returned from a trip to Lake Pepin, fishing out of Lake City, MN.
Caught good numbers of walleyes and saugers, even got into a "flock of sheep". No big fish, but a good number in the 15-18 inch range.
Pulled stickbaits on three-way rigs and lead core, also dragged jigs.
Fished with river ace Loren Waalkens. Loren really knows the river and Pepin and how to catch its fish. He guides for all species over there.
