Has anybody been picking up any fish on Otter Tail Lake lately? Any hints on what's working?

I'm coming up that way to go fishing with my dad Labor Day week and looking for reports. Our last trip in MN was on Memorial Day. 90 degrees, sunny, and flat calm. We were on several different lakes but worked hard to pick up fish. Hoping to put him on a few more fish this go around.

Ottertail has provided some good walleye action through the summer, and usually continues to do so through the fall.

However, that area can also provide some excellent action for species other than walleyes. There are many, many lakes that have excellent panfish and bass populations. If you remain flexible and try a variety of the lakes in the area, I am sure you will find action.

Wish I could be more specific, just haven't heard of any current Ottertail reports.

Let us know how you do.
