Hey everyone. Remeber me(never went fishing and planned a trip with friends). Well we didnt end up going to our local bait shop to ask for any info but we went anyway. I caught a few brim. Then the other night i went again and CAUGHT 42 MACKERAL!!!

Just wanted to know if anyone has any secret fishing tips for me. From experience i now know to drop the line ALL the way to the bottom for brim and just below the surface at night for mackeral(i could see the huge school swarm in after throwing some berly in).

So please fill me in on any other ways to fish

if you want to learn, become a student. use all the various opportunities available for that purpose. you can zero in on certain species and geographic regions. the in-fisherman library of video's, books and ongoing publications as well as the tv series on tnn, will usually offer plenty of info to put fish of all freshwater species on your hook. www.in-fisherman.com
you can rent related video's at most video rental outlets. of course,
if wanting to really understand things, referance books relating to fishery biology are easily found at the library.
keep a tight line...

Mackerel? Brim??? Kind of reminds me of that one guy's post from South Korea. Hey, at least it's a change of pace.
