Looking for an upscale family resort in Minocqua. I'm trying to please the family and still sneak in a few casts.

What are the largest and nicest resorts up there? Please help.

I have been to Minocqua several times, very nice area. As I am usually only there for a day or two, I stay in hotels. They have a Discover Guide, call 800-44-NORTH.

I took your advice and booked the Beacons on Lake Minocqua. We leave next week. Any tips on how to fish Lake Minocqua at this time of year? Should I plan on fishing some other lakes on the chain or stick to Lake Minocqua?
