In reply to an earlier post concerning the Catch Cam underwater viewing system. I stated mine was working fine despite problems experianced by others. Well guess what, first trip out everthing worked great was more than satified with the purchase. Was installing power outlets in my boat to accomodate the use of this unit and no picture, nothing at all. Also the power outlet supplied with the unit got very hot and started to melt despite a fuse that should have prevented this. Returned the unit to the supplier for a full refund. I am not one to normally bash a company; however in this case this $479 purchase was a waste of money. This unit in these two cases is a complete failure. The design idea is great and when it worked the picture was outstanding, but the qaulity of the unit is in serious question. If you are in the market for an underwater viewing system I would look elsewhere. Any reccomendations to replace this unit would be greatly appreciated.

>Johnnie,
sounds like a silly question but are you sure there was somthing down there? I thought I had a problem but found I was looking at nothing but water and thought it was not wrking. Also, camera needs to be in the C1 jack. he camera switch in front should be depressed and mode in manual. If all else fails call the 800 number and speak to Guy Tetro. He will help you. Good luck
I have the Atlantis and really enjoy it. I used it yesterday on the Saginaw River. You wouldn't believe the fish in the river. I saw huge fish and a lot of them even though yesterday I only managed to get 4 smaller ones. No trouble yet but have my fingers crossed. Nels
