Hi
The late July full moon came and went with little fanfare - light angling pressure on Mille Lacs this week made it tough to get a decent feel for the bite. The muskie, northern and smallmouth anglers all enjoyed some good action. The walleye folks were pretty far and few between. Walleye reports were mixed anywhere from catches in the mid-teens to skunked. Look for your best daytime shot at a walleye in 25-28 feet of water over rocks with a leech and a slip bobber. Toward dark and shortly after dark most of the action is in less than 12 feet... again over the rocks.
Yes, we still have leeches!
