How come

I see all the posts to find Co-anglers.Is this a problem these days? Is the field full at 200 or fewer Pros? Where are all the AM's? Are they having a hard time finding new people to fish the RCL?
I cant understand the problem, why not have everyone sign up and pair them up?
Just wondering whats going on! Thanks

Something about the power of persuasion I'm sure. It motivates the boater to insure his spot in the field by finding a non-boater...which is good for the tour. Good Marketing? JC

I know thats why they do it. Just wondering why it seems so hard to get the CO anglers? I thought that it was what the AM's wanted, the chance to earn cash. I'm wondering if they are having the same problem on the PWT tour also? Has this losy some of its luster?

It's not that hard to get co anglers, it's just hard to find them with only a message board at our disposal. Not everyone reads Walleye Central. Crazy, I know...LOL But, that's the facts of the matter.
After talking with Sonny yesterday, it seems there are a lot of co's that are now looking for a pro to sign up with, to guaranty THEIR spots.
I would suggest that any pro that does not have a co angler yet, call Sonny, and ask him for some co's names and numbers that are looking to guaranty their entry. It will be beneficial for both you and the co.

They have a message board on their site, but no one seems to use it. I think if more people were aware of it, it could be a great tool. I just happened to come across it a few weeks ago and posted a request there.

What are you talking about? It's only 500.00 to fish as a co angler in the RCL. regular season events. The 750.00 is if you qualify for the Championship. What are you reading????

The link is on the left side, and it's called "Discussions" instead of "message board".
