Dear Fishing Folks,

My husband Gary Wert (alias hollywoodeyes)is an OUTDOOR CHANNEL finalist to win his own fishing show. As his wife i ask you all to go to www.outdoorchannel.com/wyofs and vote for him.
He is absolutely crazy about walleye fishing. He drives me absolutely crazy about his walleye fishing sometimes! But he does love it so i support him.
He has worked very hard supporting the local fishing guys. Especially the Kinzua Walleye Association. Last year they raised almost $5000 for the Warren County Disabled American Veterans at their September tournament. That is pretty good.
So please vote for my husband. He is a good fisherman and it is a good cause he is working for. I am sure he will do a good show that you all will like.

All Walleye Centralists,

The guys at KINZUA ALLEGHENY WALLEYE ASSOCIATION introduced me to WALLEYE CENTRAL back in October. It has been a source of great fun as well unbelievable amounts of Walleye knowledge. Then there is the CHAT ROOM! Skipjack,eyebanger,grape juice,capt. dan,the names are too many to mention here. All have made me laugh and taught me something new about Walleye fishing. I must also mention THE DEMOCRAT. Where I work we would call him a spoon. ALWAYS STIRRING THE POT! I can't thank you all enough for the words of wisdom and wit you have provided. It is because of WC that we purchased a computer for our home.
When I auditioned for the OUTDOOR CHANNEL I never imagined it would go this far. But now I am a man on a mission. My mission is:

1) Promot KAWA and their Disabled American Veterans tournament in June.
2) Promote Kinzua Reservoir and the Warren/Chautauqua counties area
3) Promote the sport of Walleye fishing

I have no delusions of grandeur. I'm strictly an amateur local fisherman. I enjoy fishing the few local tournaments here in our area. I have no desire to go pro. My hat is off to those that do. It's a tough competitive business that requires dedication on a huge scale. It takes passion and I envy your commitment.

Only 9 days of me torturing you guys! I hope that I am not getting on your nerves too badly. If I didn't feel so strongly about the cause I am trying to promote I wouldn't be bugging you guys. If any of you had the opportunity to bring the OUTDOOR CHANNEL to your local waters for such a good cause would you not do the same??? I know I am new to WALLEYE CENTRAL and you don't know me. I ask you to please trust me and help! This is not about me. This is not about self promotion. This is not just about me winning my own fishing show. This is about helping a couple of local organizations that are doing a whale of a job!
The Kinzua Allegheny Walleye Association,headed by 2 veterans, sent a proposal to the OUTDOOR CHANNEL last October to come to our area and cover for national tv their Disabled American Veterans benefit walleye tournament. As of this date the OUTDOOR CHANNEL has not responded. This contest may be our only chance left to get them here. I could give 2 s--ts if a camera comes any where near me! I've managed to survive these past 49 years without getting my 15 minutes of fame. I figure I can survive however many fishing years I have left the same way.
So PLEASE help one of two ways. One you can vote for me. If you don't want to do that then I would petition you all to e-mail the OUTDOOR CHANNEL and ask them to support the KAWA and the DAV by coming to do this tournament. Again I thank you all for putting up with me these last few months.
