It seems another outboard manufacturer finally has Mercury a bit scared. Mercury is now attacking directly back at a manufacturer.
This could get interesting.
I own a Yamaha but I sure like the increased competition among outboard manufacturers. That is good for consumers!

It seems like the etech is always compared to 4 strokes. They beat on the Verado about fuel consumption and weight and they beat on the Yamaha 225 because it has to go in for service seven times before the etech has to go in. Why not compare 2 strokes to 2 strokes?
