Anyone know if he'll return to the tournament scene? He is a good stick.

Last I heard he was working for Gander Mountain. Saw him and his son do a hunting show on Ganders TV program.
He worked for Gander a very short time. He has been gove from there for about a year and a half.

After the screw job done to him by Jimmy K and the PWT, why would Chris even think about returning to tournament walleye fishing. People don't remember that PWT stunt do they?

Great suggestion! This is exactly what should probably be done. Ignoring the issue or getting "bull-headed" about one stance on the issue will do nothing for the growth of the sport. I was discouraged by the lack of, what seemed to me, common-sense procedure. There are groups in place that could address this issue, however they have chosen not to. I found great humor in the attitude of some, as they seem to have tried to blame me or discredit me for this. That is exactly the opposite of what would constitute "professional behavior." I have taken nothing personal, all of reaction and/or thought, good and bad, contributes to our growth. Unfortuantly, we find our weaknesses in times of crisis, through problems. One only grows when they adress and learn from such crisis/problems. I have had the courage to make a stand, and have been supported by fellow anglers with the tremendous courage, character and integrity. Anglers who truly care about their love, not motivated by selfish gain, but pure love for their sport. This has not been easy. However, "Short-term pains for long-term gains." Not all are willing to make this type of committment. Oh well, our sport has a ways to go. "So close, yet so far."
I for one will continue to do my part to help the sport. I am no longer waiting for returned phone calls nor even contemplating any myopic / selfish action that would hurt the overall progression of tournament angling. I preach "the big picture" and I am putting it into action. I will think BIG, my actions will reflect my thought and will unselfishly benefit all tournament anglers.
Always welcoming your thought,
