It is very hard to keep track of all the different questions in each thread. It would be very helpful to keep them all in one place. I am not the Webmaster, just the Moderator, so please be patient with me while I track down the answers. If you have a Hotmail account and are having problems, please read the thread titled "Hotmail.com". Scott Golden answers that question there. I can't stress enough to read the FAQ section (Frequently Asked Questions) as it answers almost all of the questions we have been asked. Thanks in advance for your patience guys. I know once everyone gets their feet wet, they will come to appreciate all this new board has to offer.

Your humble Moderator,

Jim

Jim...a direct link to registration would have been MOST helpful and saved me a couple of tranquilizers. No one told me I had to go to a WALLEYE page to register....what kind of crap is that??? This is MC not WC....Scott must have real active and latent walleye problems.... ;).

Can we have more than 6 choices in polls?
Can we have more than 60 min. to edit a message?
Shouldn’t the musky stuff be on top of the walleye stuff in conferences?
Why do we still have to refresh often?
Where can I find the updated fishing reports from Corey Meyers?

I'm a registered member (d2bucktail) even though this post shows me that I'm just a guest. I typically browse the msg board and occasionally post things after I find something of interest. Which means I'm not normally logged in before I want to post. Can we please be allowed to login at the time we are posting?

Thx,

Dave Dawson

Jim,
I have a problem getting a 51/2 year old buck to wander past my sight field while archery hunting. Could you and Scott get on this, and fix the problem for me right away?

Would it be possible to allow more topics to show up on each page? I think if all of the day's current topics were on the same page, that would be an improvement. As it is now, I think the oldest topic is from around 11:00 this morning. Other than that, I think this is a great improvement.

How do I edit my profile?

Jim, this is not to hard to figure out once you find out that you have to go to lobby to register as I looked for it for a while here first. I do have a question or 2.

Why do we see the time of the original tread next to it instead of the last time a reply was made on it? Like on Muskie Hunter Magazine's board. This will take forever to find out where we stoped last time here, having to see the replys for last time a post was made on a tread.

Is it just me or does it take forever to load the main page the first time around?

I would also suggest a + and - little thing a ma jig in front of every tread that will open and close it so we don't have to see all the replys all the time and take up to much space on the page.

Other then that it looks great so far, I can't wait to figure out all the gizmos on here.

BTW I had an IL type fishing day today my clients got 3 but all were below 30. :-( Man we have great hopes for many 50 inchers in 15 years.

Catch a few good ones
Keep releasing them all

I'll get that fixed for ya Steve, I had some 6 and 7 year olds lined up so it may take me awhile to find a younger one for ya, but I'm on it.

Hey Steve,

Not every 10 pointer will walk right up to you and stretch, 20 feet away!!! LOL! I will also push Scott to get those trophy bucks to wave a flag and blow a tuba as they approach!! Heck even I could hit one of those!! :P

Have fun....R

OK, I finally figured out how to register. But now, when I go the the Muskie Central general discussion board and then log in - it does log me OK in but after the log-in screen it dumps me back out to the walleye central lobby and you have to negotiate back to the Muskie central board.
I hope this is a bug you'll be fixing.

AWH,

To edit your profile, go to the User Menu Icon. It is on the topics page just above the first topic that is listed. You will see a row of icons. Click on it and then click on the edit profile icon.

For everyone else's questions, I will see if I can get Scott on here to answer some of them. He is checking in here quite often so he might answer them soon.

Mr Worrall,
You mean all of the apples and corn you dumped didn't work? We will have to go to plan B. In case you forgot, that was the one where you took more showers. :) If all else fails, you can swing up to my cabin and see the one on the wall and the one from last year that is at the taxidermist as we speak. By the way Steve, thanks for giving me a good laugh in the middle of all this. :)

Sorry to repeat:
I use an older version of Netscape (3.0) during breaks at work. Both the new format in Walleye and Muskie Central give me numerous java script error messages when I open a thread. Takes me forever to click them up and OK them so I can move the screen."Line 30 is not a number"
I have enough frustration in life with a 20 year old boy, this board gives me the contact with other realities that I need.m

Very easy to use! I am happy to see the change.

Mikie, you gotta update your browser. Netscape 3.0 only runs older versions of Javascript. Your browser is many version behind the current edition. Evolve or die is the moral of the story.

As time goes on, you're going to find more and more sites that your browser doesn't like. Just bite the bullet and upgrade. It's free.

I lost every bass that hit me tonight, and I have 'gas'. The buck problem previously mentioned is solved, I think.
