My son and I were up Sept 15 th for a week we fished several lakes Clear and a small section of Stoney were among them .The water temps were from 65 - 69 most of the week .Most of our fish came on slower baits 8" jerkbaits did the best . We boated 30 for the week and 28 of these came casting the trolling bite was off compared to other trips we have made.Any other questions you can e-mail me if you want .My address is hankjr21@home.com good luck next week .

Hank,
Howdy! If you reread this message - Congrats! 30 in a week is a great number. What was your biggest? Please give my best to the "3rd". Send photos...

Give Steve Wickens an email, it's his main guiding territory.

I live on Scugog which is the southern most lake in the Kawarthas and the water temp tonight was 58 F. The temps have fallen even with the recent warm days we've had as the nights have been cool.

Good luck on Stoney, I'll be there in two weeks!
