Our normal fall musky trip accomodations fell thru for this year so I thought I'd ask you guys/gals if you have any suggestions for a place to stay on or near the chip. There will be 4 of us and we will need a place for 2 nights; Oct 20 & 21 (sat and sun nights). A modest/inexpensive cabin would be preferred. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thx,

R&R bayview was inexpensive- and we were pleased with the cabin- right on the water on the northern side- lots of good muskie spots nearby... good food too... with lots of dockspace, etc. -actually was the most inexpensive place i found in the spring...

I would try Indian Trail Resort on the other side of the flowage. If you can get in, the bunkhouse is I think still $17.00 a night. Talk to John or Pat. I believe their web site is www.indiantrailresort.com.

Another place to try is Deerfoot lodge. The motel is about $85.00 a night for two people. It just might be worth it for the location on the flowage. The web site is www.deerfootlodge.com.

I have stayed at both.
