Chad,
Have just gotten off the lake and she's starting to pop! Scored today with a 48"/30#er on a Wolverine Quick Strike Rig. Water temps are right at 50.
Good Luck!

That will work! We had pretty much a south wind for a few days so we were just below the narrows in the deep basin there. Right on the bottom.
Mainly finding the deeper holes did it for us.

Thanks Rob! That is actually one area I haven't spent much time(the deep water that is). I should though, as one day last fall I was out there and a 45"er grabbed my sucker right out from the landing in the open basin where I stopped to just rig up my suckers. I wonder if that huge bullhead population suspends out there???...???

I'm thinking that the bullhead population is becoming a memory. I haven't seen one or heard of anyone catching any in a few years. What's really coming on there is the rockbass. There are quite a few that become eagle and crow meals during the ice season.
