Just found this board, I'm new to the Muskie fishing, after years of smallie fishing and coming back with empty line due to the toothy critters, I went to a braid and this year I have landed 3 Muskies, one 26", one 40" and one 44" (the last 2, cames these last 2 weeks!). This has me interested in the muskie, and I came here to learn. Nice to meet you all. :D

DR, welcome aboard. Sounds like you have the fever. Goto the home page and register. This way people can trade info in private with you and we all can know a little bit about you.

DR.....RUN AS FAST YOU CAN!!! Go, get away from here....pretend you have never heard or seen what esox musquinongy is!! You may have contracted muskypox already and, unlike other diseases, there is nothing you can take for this malady. Intravenous antibiotics won't help, heck I've even tried exorcism and that hasn't done it. You'll become one of the few, the proud, the touched, the muskynuts! It's not just a job....it's a contagious infection!
BTW...congrats on the fish and welcome to muskypoxland.

PS: Some great info to be learned on these muskyboards, some of these guys have been infected for decades and actually think they are beginning to understand the fickle musky.
Thanks everyone! and yes the disease is WAY TOO far gone and hooked forever I am :)
How do you register? I cant seem to get around on the site very well yet, any help would be apperciated.

You'll never look at a bass the same way. Every time you catch something else you'll be thinking if I only had a quick set rig. You,ll dream about them , and wish you were fishing for them at all times .My grandmother once told me I suffered from fish on the brain , now it's become muskies on the brain. The bottom line is you can't get enough ,YA GOT MUSKIE FEVER. I've been fishing for them about 8 years now and can't get enough. So good luck.
GOOD HUNTING
