The WWA is definitely a good choice for tourneys in Minnesota. This last year the turn outs were more than expected and hopefully more this year. On the other hand Mike Holt who was the tournament director has quit and last I heard has started his own tourney trail.. I feel Mike has done a tremedous, professional job of running the tournaments and actually look forward to see what he plans to come up with for next season. Yet if all else fails you will see this guy fishing the WWA. They just need to get their act together and get membership cards out a little faster than four months after you paid for it....not sure what the deal was there but anyway........overall you can't go wrong with WWA now that USFA is out of the way.............
I fish the WWA in South Dakota, and aside from some minor organizational issues, it's been great. I'd like to see the website updated a little more often, but I'm much happier with the circuit than I was with USFA when I fished it in 2000. Overall, I think it's a good circuit with a great future.
I'll be out there again in 2002.
