Hi guys- i sorta looked, I hope the subject has'nt been over done. I must have been a good dad this year- or a descent husband- but for x-mas I get an fishtrap guide. My question is what type of a heater would be best to use in this unit.Only needing to be warm enough to take off my gloves, and space being a consideration- any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks-Lou in Alex.

Lou, go to google or other search engine and seach "hot vent" and see what you think. I haven't tried one but it looks interesting. )I think the site is LODI.COM

Which ever the ones are that the propane tank sits outside the house? Mr heater? Im not shure. The just have the sunflower head and tank, does the trick but takes up more space than id like.

I have a single fishtrap and I use teh colman Black cat heater, works good and is small enough to get out of the way.

I have a single fishtrap & I'll second Bobco. The Blackcat is the best option I've found. Hard to tip over, no flame, low profile, sit in sled, near legs, or by hole.

Being safer than conventional unvented heaters is a plus. But, in such a confined space...
