Is is true? Mr. Wilson will not be at the show this year. In musky hunter he is advertising but I had heard he was going to be a no show.

Sorry to hear that.
Saw a few HR's on the shelf at Thornes the other day on one of my Bi-weekly, payday reward, one bait per pay period bait buying adventures.
Used to have a nice mix of eight HR baits, they got ripped off.
:-(
Been replacing them with the Cobb Round Nose and Count Down.
Not quite the same, but a good bait at half the price.
Have fun at the show!
:-)

This shouldn't be a surprise. You can't count the number of people who are upset with him. Now his phone has been changed to an unlisted number and there is absolutely no way to make contact with him, no fax, no phone, no email. Why would you make an appearance at a show where people can beat the snot out of you if you don't even want to take their calls?
His mistake was that he should never have taken orders directly from consumers. If he had only made product available through retail we wouldn't have anything more to ##### about other than we can't find his product.
ps. If he makes an appearance and has the ball$ to bring product you can bet I'll be at the front of the line with my Knipex cutting my baits from his board.
Simple solution,
Use a PHANTOM!

Sad to admit I was apparently suckered in to the HR siren song at the Chicago show. My bait was promised by June 30, 2001. Despite repeated telephone messages, one fax, and 2 telephonic promises from Mr. Wilson, I have yet to receive delivery. To add insult to injury, I saw the identical bait I ordered hanging on a rack at a bait shop earlier this summer - for less $$$ than I'm already out! Live and learn.
