It looks like we may get ok weather for this weekend. Either way I'm fishing both Friday and Sat. Anyone interested in doing one more event? Spring Park on tonka again? Either way the back of my boat is open and I know the address of a 50"er that I played for a minute yesterday with TECK.

Here muskie, muskie, muskie....

My son and I went out today. It was raining and too lousy for deer hunting so we went muskie hunting instead.

My son caught his first muskie today, as well as his second, third and fourth!!! :) He caught 3 on quick strike rigged suckers and the fourth on a twitched Jake bait. While there was nothing large caught today, the biggest being a 34 incher, he and I landed 6 muskies and had the time of our lives.

Good Lord, if this is to be my last day muskie fishing for the year, thank you for letting it be with my son. Seeing the look on his face when he held his first muskie was priceless.

For those of you interested, the water temp was 37.8 degrees, all the fish were caught in less than 8 feet of water, 1 caught on a perch colored Jake, another caught on a bass colored Bomber Long A, another caught on a firetiger Bomber Long A and the remaining 3 were caught on quick strike rigged suckers. One BIG fish was missed when it hit my Bomber on a figure 8 and I just plain blew it!!! :(

What a season, 144 muskies! Nothing big, but the numbers certainly were there.

I'm in. Thickster, Hooker how about you?

I'm going to check the launch today to see if we can even get in. If we can't we may want to look south. Any suggestions?
