Ice conditions

Figured we are all getting a bit antsy about getting out on the ice.

I am wondering is there ANY ice on Lakes south of Ashland Wisconsin?

I am hoping to do a little ice fishing on the 26th...doesn't look good right now. I don't want to shop with my wife all day..

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS FOR ME!!

Don't be antsy.
Pull your boat out of storage and enjoy the open water.
There is nearly no ice anywhere in the midwest - all the way up to the canadian border.

Don't complain - enjoy the warmth - and if you want to fish, cast off shore or use your boat.

I live in Ashland and can tell you there is no ice on the bay, but I'm not sure about south of town. Yesterday I was in Iron River and there were people fishing the Iron River flowage. There is some ice on the Pike Chain, but no more than an inch. Today reached about 40, so it won't help.
