Check ot the article in the winter 2001 edition of ESOX ANGLER. That should answer your question.
Hi,
I wrote the article along with Joe for EA, and had him rig my boat while Tom Bernhardt shot the photos.
I'll never have anyone else rig one of my boats. Joe's a perfectionist, and there wasn't a thing on my boat I would have changed once he was done with it. He's also very good about getting you to explain your fishing style so he can rig it to suit your needs, and he came up with some rigging solutions for problematic things that would never have crossed my mind...
Joe also has a great deal of experience rigging Rangers, (including his own 620s) so he knows the ins and outs of that hull very well.
One thing about the article though. I badly garbled a quote from Joe re: fuses, (cut some text and forgot to fix the sentence - my bad: sorry Joe ) and will be printing a correction/clarification in the next issue...FYI
Bottom line: I highly recommend Joe.
Cheers,
RK
