mora blue ice auger?

Does anybody know the thread size for a mora blue hand auger? The threads have stripped out in the handle and I need to cut and re-tap it. I called Strikemaster they had no idea. You would think all the years they have been selling these they might have some clue.

I took mine apart and measured it for you. This is an oddball size that you will have fun repairing. It is an M15x1.50 metric thread. Good luck finding this on shelf of the local hardware store! Brian

If you can't fix it it by a Jiffy.

You may not be able to fix it but look into drilling a hole through it and putting a 1/4" bolt with a locking nut on it to hold it together.

Just a thought.
