Just sitting here in December, thinking about how to go muskie fishing without Traveling anywhere. Then the thought came across, "Strange Days". The movie about the new year's 2000. What's that got to do with muskie fishing, you ask? Well nothing but in that movie if you've seen it, they have these really cool deals you can put on your head and they record memories like real life. Then Once you record them you can play them back into your brain. Its just like reliving the experience.

So my thought was, wouldn't those be the greatest things in the world to wear when muskie fishing. Just think about it, your catch of a life time is reliveable any time you want. Now in December or January or when ever you could go fishing. Its one thing to have pictures or home videos of your trip, but that would be unbelievable. I still remember years ago, like it was yesterday, seeing the biggest fish of my life, but being able to truely see her again would be priceless. Of course for some people this would be hard because their fish grow with time, and this would challenge that. And the Market for Guides they could record truely monster fish and you could step into their shoes and experience it, for a small fee.

Yes, I live in a fantasy world. But what do you expect its December and the Fevers Grabbing hold.

Ryan,I'm w/ you dude! The words "strange + fantasy world" caught me attention....your idea is good as look at the # of times we play over + over in our minds a certain fish or trip....keep the launch pad free of debris....I think you're onto something here!:)

Openings for a memory saboteur? A Bondesque villain, perhaps the "man with the golden interface"? I'll bet if you snuck into someone's memory files and changed the outcome from catching the biggest fish in their lifetime to having it break off at boatside, it could traumatize a fisherman to the extent that the next season they would be harmless, especially in competition. Oh, the possibilities would be endless. One could only imagine an apacolyptic, bald headed visage quitely enunciating "The horror!"
