Tails to dye for!

I have just started tying my own bucktails this winter. So far they have all been natural color combinations. I would like to know how I can dye my own to get more color combinations. Is there online information? What are the best methods, products, sources, etc..?

What are your favorite colors?

Rit fabric dye works well and fast, if you don't mind boiling the tails. There was a thread about this last year. Someone recomended a product called Procion (I think), but didn't say where to find it. It didn't have to be boiled but took 24 or 48 hours.
