who has any info on these, where they sold for a long time, did Dick Gries sign them all (mine has 'striker Jr' by Dick Gries on it)?
Who has any tips on how to fish them the best?
Thanks!

divani,
Dick Gries was a guide and lure manufacturer located in Woodruff, Wiscinsin. Amoung the lures in his line were: Striker, striker Lr., and the Shockwave, a crankbait plus the Ojibway line of crankbaits. The Strikers have a 7" wire leader attached to the line tie.
Dick quit guiding and lure manufacturing about 6 or 7 years ago and took up golf. I was fortunate to buy several of his lures at his garage sale at that time.
I fish the Strikers by a fast crank to get them to depth and then short pulls back to the boat. Hop this helps.

Divani, I am going to try to get up to that tackle shop this weekend to get that striker bait. Have to put the boat away and do some housework but I will try to find some time.

Caught my first 3 muskies on a striker jr. I've always loved using them. If you have a rootbeer or a darker colored water, try the firetiger jr.... It looks just like a walleye in the water. They also made a topwater called the Topkick and the SuperTopKick. Mine got lots of use over the years.
