View Full Version : General Mills update on supporting HSUS...
Along with other fishing and hunting people we must have bombarded the H-E-double-toothpicks out of them to let them know we will not have this. GOOD NEWS...one of my buddies has gotten a response from the corporate guys at General Mills and it was stated that they are indeed in favor of conservationism and not whacko enviromentalism. Apparently some of thier promo people dropped the ball BIG TIME when all they wanted was to get a message out about pet awareness around the holidays, but somehow chose HSUS as a partner. There will be another press release from General Mills in the very near future stating thier position. Keep an eye on it yet...this ain't over until the Fat Puppy barks!
Thanks Bobr,
I called last week after I read the HSUS crap on their web site. I Gently told them I wouldn't be purchasing their products anymore. I pointed out how their product is dependent on farming, yet they saw it in their mind to support an anti-farm/anti-sportsman agenda via HSUS.
Sounds like they heard from many of us. It's our dollar, companies just need to figure out how to get it from us. It's really not that hard to figure out, yet some companies can't figure it out, so they send us to the competition.
The agenda groups have one thing over us, organization. There are more of us, with more money to spend, we will be heard! As far as organization goes...we're closing that gap too. Thanks to people just like the fine ones who come here.
they can tell us where they stand on the issue, but if they still sponsor hsus we still lose. i will not buy their products until they drop hsus.
Dont stop now!!

Call em again, e mail em again, let them know that if this is true you support them, but will not EVER buy a GM product again if they continue to support an animal rights extremism organization that supports domestic terroism, and whose records are frought with financial mis management of funds.

Wife sold there stock awhile ago. Go Kellogs. Emailed them with her good news. ;) She also bought nothing but Kellogs cereals, General Mills to the kids food drive. Mother Hubbard left standing with all her "children" with pots and pans in the middle of the field WHHAAAA.
These people have to understand that when a free people's lose their right of choice, whether it be recreation, wages or what not, Bambi will be of no defense to those rights and the first on the stove.
Sportsmans dollars have led to species coming back from the brink of extinction, and have protected these resources with licenses, seasons and contributions.
Not to mention land acquizition and public access.
