Life is good! My son gave me two lures for xmas,one was a super topraider, I am a lucky man. My question, there was no split ring on the front, should i use one?

Yeah, I got a couple of the Super TR's, and they don't have split rings. I use the regular top raiders a lot, and have not had the need to use a split ring in the front. I did modify them by adding a trailor hook, which I haven't used yet. I had too many short strikes on that lure. Good luck with the new STR's. I can't wait to use mine!
