I've been watching 'Passion Plein Air'(french) for a few years off and on.I'm guessing this is the translation? Of the french shows it was always the most beautifully shot, but in terms of learning something it's not up to a show like In-Fisherman. It has a bit too much of 'paid advertising for the sponsors feel' at times too, but all Quebec shows suffer from that. Just my thoughts.

I too have watched the show for years and still do so it still is a decent show but I find the fishing part of it too short ( some 10-15 minutes max ) as well and the host in not a made for tv kinda guy like Isumi or Lindner. But I find none of the Quebec fishing host great tv personalities and most of the Ontario hosts as well. Where did Isumi come from?
I remember them been one of the fist show to use an underwater camera so you will always see great shots of fighting fish underwater as well as hearing the bubbles form the scuba camera guy it's kinda cool.
Catch a big one this fall
Keep releasing them all

Wish I could get the show Marc! This spring we are appearing on Opra to do a shot on "Southern Gamefish"....such as how to prepare doughballs that will stick to the hook in the strongest of currents, red wiggler rigging + what to do when snagged on a tire....I'l let you know when it airs!:)

I agree, few have the charisma of Bob Izumi and Al Lindner.Met them both. The noise underwater are not always the scuba diver. The show we did had no scuba divers.
Stewart, you are right its the english version. Its nice to see a local boy make it across the border with his own tv show.Ray does make some of the best shots out there.Ads pay for tv,unfornatly.
Spong let me know when dough boy will be on.BTW I stll need what I asked for.You wont regret it.I promise.
Happy new year all

Attention: R. Collin - Izumi is from the Burlington/Hamilton, Ontario area.
Have all of you forgotten B.H."Red" Fisher from Mitchell's Bay,
ON who is the pioneer of all North American TV outdoor hosts?
Perhaps you are just too young. During the early 1970's, The
Red Fisher Show direct from Scuttlebutt Lodge was the only hunting
& fishing show available and was syndicated throughout Canada and the U.S.
Red is now 88 years old and has just released another book. In
February he will be appearing at the Toronto Fishing Show to sign
copies.

Yeah, I still remember the old Red Fisher shows from Scuttlebuck Lodge. They were big on entertainment but little on information.
