New Years Resolutions???

So what are your resolutions?

Mine are:
1) to catch a 45 incher or bigger.
2) go fishing more than last year
3) shoot the 10 point buck I missed during bow season
4) Attend more Cub games while they are en route to the world series
5) watch the Bears play in the Super Bowl on my birthday this year
6) Finally catch a darn musky on a top raider(I have lost a gazillion on that lure)
7) and lastly-Tell all my family/friends how much they truly mean to me!

I have not made any resolutions but I will try to be a better person overall and try my hardest not to let some of these idiots get to me this year. I will also rid the river of the scum that comes on it every fall. :)

As for muskie fishing my goal is still to beat 55 inches or pounds.

Catch a big one this fall

mine was not to drink to much this year but i already blew that 1. im also going tokeep track of my trips to the bathroom. is it just me or does anyone else wonder how many times they go in a year? im up to 8 already and its only been 12 hours. another resolution is to see if i can break rich's resolution. oh yeah andi thin im going to fish some this year too. hopefully ill catch something.

Well as far as muskie fishing is concerned, I will fish by what the pros have proven effective and watch my fishing conditions that will determin on my lure I throw etc. I will try not to waste my time doing dumb stuff, becuase in the past I know I have screwd up throwing a lure too deep or too shallow and the muskys aren't even going to see it.

Da bears, you can forget about #4. As long as the cubs continue to play at wrigley field, there is no reason to field a champoinship calibur team. Any team success is just a overacheived bonus.


I will just continue to put my time in on the water and just improve learn, hone my skills and become a more successful musky fisherman.

Not resolutions but fishing related things I hope happen:
1) My wife catches her first big Muskie.
2) Two of my friends catch their first Muskies.
3) My little girl catches her first fish of any type.
4) I catch and sucessfully release my first +52 inch Muskie.
5) I get a new boat or at least a new motor.
6) I get to fish a little more than last year.
7) I learn a few things from joining Muskies, Inc.
