Jackpike,
My highs and lows, well I got two each.

Lows:
My house burned down last February, lost everything.
Sept 11

Highs:
Joined a working band after 3 years off.
Caught a huge Largemouth, don't know the exact wieght. It was 18" long and as heavy as a 5lb bag of sugar! That is HUGE for New England Bass.

Low: Got laid off June 27 and am still job hunting. Thank God I put some $ aside beforehand (even if it was supposed to be for a new boat).

High: Caught my first muskie on the day after Thanksgiving! Not a trophy by any means, but hey! a fellow has to start somewhere!

Worm Drowner-
Wow! Good luck with finding a job. I am waiting for a lay off where I work. It will be by April at the latest. I hope the economy gets better, really soon.

Lows-My fiance'(sp?) dumped me as I was too intune with the outdoors..."Do you HAVE to go fishing or hunting all the time?" hey at least I wasn't sitting in some strip club...now I am but not before. Five year relationship down the toilet but we withstand....

Lost a good buddy (NYC Firefighter) in the September 11 b.s. cowardly crap, no one would ever attack the US face to face, I've seen the toughness of the Midwest, Texas, Montana, Wyoming first hand and would feel sorry for anyone attacking us straight up.

Highs-Got to spend time with my nephew, almost two years old and got him to take his first tipup...Thank God for my buddies from the Rocky Mountain's toughest to Wisconsin's finest fishing coherts...Like GDub said "Peace loving but fierce when stirred...." God bless our country's finest...

Low: Was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in September, and missed out on the best part of the fishing season because of it.

High: Took my uncle out for his first time muskie fishing, and watched him catch a fat 40" fish on a topraider

For all of you that had your low lows, my prayers are with you.

My lows were not quite so bad:
Bad fishing weather
Big lawyer bill
No big fish for me
Pops getting dog crap in my boat carpet

Highs were:
Pops getting his personal best 46" 27lb.
Spending time on the water
Fishing with my kids
fishing much later than normal
