I have read about the raving reviews of St. Croix's telescoping GT80 anyone have advice on the the 2 piece model?
Thanks-- foreyes

I used the GT80MH2 for several years with great results. The ONLY reason I switched to the GT80M (telescoping) is because my rod lockers will accommodate this rod when collapsed. With the GT80MH2 I had to break down the rod if I wanted to stow it. Other than that it's a phenominal rod for pulling cranks with or without boards.

Check out the swap board. Scott Hogland is selling two of the two piece rods. I think he left his email.
Scott was my partner in 2000. I can tell you that he takes care of his fishing equipment. It sounds like a good deal.
Just thought I'd let you know about it in case you didn't see it.
