Who is using what camera and do you like it? If you had to buy what you have again, would you buy the same one? I have seen the Aquaview cam displays, impressive, but are they worth it? Thanks in advance......Bob

i have a vista cam and i must say that i am not very pleased with it. i can run it about two hours before the battery runs dead. its a new battery too. the picture is very good and the one i have is a deluxe. if i had to get a new one, i would look for the one that is the most portable. that is definitly very important for ice fishing. check around. thats the best you can do. test as many as you can.

I have had an Aquaview Z-series for the past year and have had no problems with it. I keep it on all day when ice fishing but use it only sporadically on open water. It's really interesting to see whats down there, but I can't say that it has helped me catch more fish, nor that I expected it to. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I could see in 30' of water, even under the ice and snow, or on a cloudy day. Your field of view is severely restricted in stained water and at night, however. The infrared lights on my camera allow you to see a couple feet, perhaps, but it's like driving through a blizzard at night, as the lights illuminate every particle suspended in the water.

I have an Aqua-View Z series as well as an OVS. The OVS is my fav. Clearer picture and the main thing I hate about the Aqua-View was the on switch. In my boat it would bounce around and turn on so when I decided to use it, the battery was dead.
