Any specific suggestions for a rod to go with an Abu5500C3 that'll get me started in the sport? Hoping to spend $100 or less. Just a little confused.

Gander Mountain has some Guide muskie rods that are normally about $70 and go on sale for about $50 in the spring. Shimano has some decent rods out there too that are in about the same price range. For getting started, I'd recommend a medium-heavy 7 ft rod with something like a 1-3 oz lure rating. That will work well for most everything except the really big baits.
