Rocky brand boots

Local surplus store has Rocky brand boots (same as in Cabelas) for same prices. Are these boots any good? They have some called the Blizzard Stocker that are good to -100 for about $100. They look kinda like a cross between a moon boot and hiking boot. Any good for ice fishing?

Yep! They're GOOD boots and at a good price. Very comfortable for walking, too.

Eric those are the exact boots (blizzard stalker) that I purchased for my son this year for hunting.
While not there best boot it has 1000 g thinsulate and it's waterproof.
They are a little stiff and since we have had 40F weather here in MN he has not worn them at all so they have not been through any wear.
Rocky makes good boots and the price is the same as I paid here in MN but they might be seconds or imperfects which should be marked as such but ya never know.
