Anyone out there ever use spinner rigs for Muskie or am I crazy? I was thinking about up sizing components and using suckers or big chubs. I have caught big pike doing this, just wondering if anyone has any ideas to make this method more appealing to muskies. Any reply appreciated.

I use a tail gunner(coined by Steve Herbeck) on most of my suckers and they work great!!! I use a smaller colorado blade on a small swivel and #8 trout hook and pop it into the meat by the tail. Nice flash!

Thanks Jason! Do you have better luck with smaller components? What speed are you trolling? Does the sucker have to be lively or does dead bait work? Thanks again for the info
