This is a reminder to everyone to avoid driving after drinking alcohol when celebrating the Holidays. There was a tragic accident on I-35 this week in Duluth, MN. A pickup truck being driven the wrong way on I-35 at 4:00 AM struck a Ford Taurus head-on killing the driver of the Taurus and injuring her husband. The dead woman was driving her husband to the hosipital. He is suffing from the late stages of lung and brain cancer. She left behind several childern. The police say the driver of the pickup had been drinking.

Also, be careful as you venture out on the ice and take those snowmobiles for the first ride. Fun should never be a cause of death or injury.

What an awful tragic thing to happen to a family. So sad. My sympathies go out to their families and friends.

Thanks for the reminder. It's a sobering thought.

Happy Holidays!

And stay away from my city! We have been hammering the drunks lately, and I give NO breaks, and have NO sympathy for any one who drinks and drives.

Unfortunatly, a neighbor and former co-worker of my wife is related to the family, what a terrible waste of life. My prayers go out for them. Xplorer
