Has anybody had any luck with the Jointed Pikie?

If so what technique were you using? Straight retrieve or
jerking? I picked one up a week ago, it was cheap enough,
thought it might do ok. Mark

I've been told that they're pretty much a requirement to have on Missouri's Muskie lakes. One of the few muskies I've seen there ate a Pikie. But I'm assuming that you're from more traditional waters, so that may not mean much.

I have done very well with that lure in the fall. Saw almost half my fish on that lure last year. I usually just do a straight retrieve unless I am in really shallow water then I use it as a jerkbait. The perch colored one also works but not half as good as the jointed pikie. That lure also works well for big northerns and the occasional largemouth.
