I just wanted to know if anyone fishes the lake and if you do hows the fishing?

Lake Galena? I have never heard of it and it is not listed on the IL DNR list so maybe its new. Is it in Galena Illinois?

I heard its a private lake and not open to the general public.
yes it is private and has an 8 HP limit. If you stay at Eagle Ridge golf course I think you can rent boats at the marina.But I would call and check it out first.
