Otter Sled Rod holder

I have flush mount fish-on holders on my 1890LE and thought about adding couple flush mounts for my otter magnum house. Anyone had other thoughts besides just laying down the rod. Time to spare now between seasons.

I took 2-inch PVC pipe and cut two 6 inch sections. Glued them together with a 45 degree elbo. Drilled a hole just big enough to insert them in the rail. Works great.
