I am trying to locate a book written by Bill Binkleman about nightcrawler secrets. I have tried all of the obvious sources - Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc. as well as Reed's and Gander Mountain. Any leads would be appreciated. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

My wife is a school librarian and I just asked her assistance.
Started at Amazon.com The origional book plus the updated one are out of print, that will make finding it diffucult.
Our state (Pa) has all public libraries and 98% of school libraries connected on a state wide library loan. For the whole state she found 1 copy.
A good place to start if you just need to borrow it would be your public library. They may have a state wide program like Pa and may even have inter library loan across the nation.
Other than that you will need to find a large used book dealer and ask them to search for it but that can be expensive. I also looked on EBAY, nothing there but that would be a good place to follow or maybe even contact some sources from there that deal in large volume used books.
Here is some info that will help your search:
Lunkers love nightcrawlers by the editors of Fishing Facts magazine. published by Northwood Publishing Co. 1972

I was able to order the book from Midwest Outdoors. Cost was $13.00 including shipping. They had approx. 5000 copies on hand. Thanks for the help. Regarding the ice fishing tourney, I can't be much help to you. I know they drill a @#*!load of holes and you have to pick one. I would assume you can move around and check depths prior to the start of the contest. Most years it seems the bigger fish-usually walleyes-come out of deep (35' or more) water. Best of Luck.
