All are good, if you fish a lot of deep water situations, 40' or more, go with the duel beam 9/12.
This will eliminate overlap if you fish with another angler in close quarters and also allow you to zoom in on your bait presentation using the 9.

I didn't think Vexilar made a 9/12 degree dual beam transducer, and checking http://www.vexilar.com confirmed it. The 12 degree transducer is suppose to replace the need for the 9/19 degree dual beam trasnducer. The 9/19 transducer is suppose to work best on flats in 19 mode, and on reefs and drop-offs in the 9 mode. The 12 degree is suppose to cover both situations, but seeing the unit comes with the 12 degree transducer, you could always buy the 9/19 degree dual beam and switch when you deem it necessary.
The FL18 comes standard with a 12 degree and we recommend you stay with this ducer unless you are fishing a lot in 80 feet of water or more. Our testing shows the 12 degree is the best of all worlds for the special auto zoom feature
