I am a walleye fisherman but my home lake has a great muskie pop.. I am interested in fishing them so I bought some shad raps (I think), they have a bill that has a 90* bend in it and are roughly 5" long. I heard the locals on my lake use them in the spring but not sure how deep they run on what pound test. I am fishing for 'ski's tonight and was wondering what speeds you experts might reccomend. Thanks for the help. -Kevin

It sounds like you are talking about a Super Shad Rap. They are a great bait to troll and would think they get 8-10 ft down, Casting about the same, they come in deep so make sure to figure 8, You can troll them real slow or pretty fast. they are a great bait with a tight wobble

Thanks for the help. I was hoping that they wouldn't troll deeper than 12. All the bait seems stacked up on/between the points in 5-12ft, should do the trick??? Happy hunting.
