Spoke with Dr John Farrell At SUNY-ESF. John is the the research director on the Fisheries Research Station On Govenors Island on The St Lawrence River. John's life work has been devoted to esox research on the river. He is the most widely published biologist in N America to date in terms of Musky and Pike. Asked him about Bernard Lebeau work from years back on Wabagoon ect., and he had no recollection of his work from years back ever being proposed or published in any scientific journals or proposals.
Is there a source that I can get a copy of his work?(not in-fisherman).Also, what Is Bernard Lebeau doing these days? Does anyone know where he works? A contact email or phone# would be great.

John,

There was a thread that came up this Spring on Muskies101 that dealt with this very issue. I don't think that Lebeau was what started the thread, rather that it took a turn towards that. You may have even been in it. Larry Ramsell had some thoughts in that thread about Lebeau not being published. It's been a while so I can't even point you to the title of the thread, but if you did some digging, I bet you could find it.

The thread was called "SUPER FISH?", topic 231, at http://www.muskies101.com/forums/ForumID3/231.html
I just looked it up and read it. It is a great discussion.
