C&B,
This is weird. I was coming home from a T-ball game last night and started thinking about Vermilion. My thoughts then went to "Where the heck has Tom Wehler been?" For that matter, where has Guideman been? I guess they are over run with clients and don't have time to come visit us...:)

Hey now!
How ya all been.
I was on the road with my little guitar buddy & the Z boys, doing a six city casino tour in late May.
Since been told we are loosing our day job of sixteen years the 31st of July and spending a lot of time out on the Island.
My Cell phone voice mail been on the fritz?
Not close to a computer?
Things have to get better eh?
C&B - Got ya covered Daddy O!
Will call ya the 19th with more info.
Hey Jim Mc!
LOL
Why think about her, when ya can do her?
The Big V. I'm talking about bud!
Your not really that far away.
:)
Word has it on a few sites and the Duluth news paper, someone caught a 60 inch Musky on the V?
NO photos, or witness so far?
Here we go.
I'm staying out of it.
Water is cooler for this time of year.
Most fish we have tangled with have been way up shallow or moving from one spot to another while trolling.
Most are still not moving much and in what most would call a post spawn period.
I have been talking to Guidman and trying to figure it out.
Cool & fun.
Water can be 50 in the morning, then as high as 58 to 60 at high noon and falls off after that.
Have found BIG fish in the 63 degree waters, but they are just laying around.
We just leave them and go hunting for NEW spots and trying to find active fish.
Have not as yet found any warmer water myself.
I hear on the West end of people catching a few fish, but I'm betting most are Bass & Walleye guys and Sucker Soakers?
Few Nice Pike on the deep weed lines?
Found some great NEW cabbage areas and been hunting out NEW spots everytime out.
Homer J. loves Musky Fishing and we are all having fun in the NEW rig.
Dam big boat!
LOL
Homer J. looks and eats just like a Cinnimon Grizzly, not a 10 month old Golden Retriver.
BIG winds off and on the last fee weeks.
High rollers!
Fun.
I have a feeling things Musky Wise will bust wide open here in a few weeks after the winds settle down some, stable weather moves in to stay for a while instead of just pop in for a visit.
Heard a few people are really doing well down in the metro on B. E., Tonka and WBL!
Hope to see some of you this summer up north and please stop by and give a holler and have a pop.
Homer J. would love to eat ya!
Meat ya!
MEET you all.
Keep on rock'en!

Hey Jim,
We are still around, been spending way to much time chasing walleyes. I have a few fish but nothing over 40" so far.
Haven't seen a photo of that 60"er so I don't know if it's the real deal. Most of the guides and the DNR have their doubts. Would be nice to see a photo!
Get your butt up here man, lets go get a fatty, I think my boat could hold us
both?...:)

Tom and Terry,
It's great to hear you two are still tearing up the Big V!
Tom- If I read your post right, it sounds like Fair Share may be shutting down. Is that true? If it is, I am sorry to hear that. On the upside, that will give you more time to hang out with Billy, Frank, and Dusty. :) If I knew how to make a smiley face with a long beard, I would.
Terry- I know what I weigh, and Tom has told me what you weigh. I think we may have to jettison some of the seats to make sure the boat stays afloat! :P
I am hoping to get up there for a weekend in July. If not, I will for sure be staying at Mckinley Park Campground for Labor Day weekend. This is going to be an annual trip with all of my brothers and their families. I will let you guys know when I head up.

Fare For All is going under July 31st.
I'm trying to start a NEW distribution system of my own, but it takes time.
With help it will work.
Right now I'm working with a few of the heavey hitters in the meat industry and a few friends to get it up and running for August without missing a distribution.
Time will tell.
The three of us should hook up sometime and Jim can show us his spots?
:)
Did you both meet yet.
You been yapping at each other for some time now!
LOL
LOL
I betting we could really do some damage, and fish some to.
LOL
Did you all happen to see Terry on the Fishing page of the St. Paul Paper last week?
Way cool, he was the featured guide of the week!
Really Good stuff.
He is also going to be doing some TV this Fall if I remember right.
Super job bud.
Next few weeks should be the start of what I feel will be a really great summer.
See ya soon.
